This is cool, only question if it works well with other Laptops - it would even better if it also support Thunderbolt but it will be good in any case. My guess Dell will come out with one also.
I have one of the early 15" USB-C 15.4" portable monitors and i love it. Im a consultant and i work out of many different offices on things are a multimonitor heavy. I cant wait for it to get better, brighter displays, thinner screens etc. Ive ordered that new one from indiegogo that looks great, but its turning out a be a near scam level of lies. Im sure i will eventually get it, but before Dec 2019 im thinking is unlikely. The market will be full of great alternatives by 2020 im sure.
I suspect this monitor just uses USB-PD for power and DisplayPort AltMode over USB-C for video. Ideally, it would use the USB 2.0 pins too for touch as well?
Theoretically, if your laptop supports those two specs (Thunderbolt 3 not needed), you should be able to use this monitor.
