#25, are you serious? Did you think that all the ads on the site are just put up for free? With the kind of traffic this site does, those spots are prime real estate and go for some serious cash.
congratulations! im a relatively recent frequenter of the site, and i love it. i refer all my friends who have expressed an interest in building computers, etc. to your site.
heres another vote for a mac section!!! that would be awesome.
but to get back to whats really important in this entry- you. congratulations again, and good luck. although, with such an awesome accomplishment as this site under your belt, you dont really need any luck. =)
Congrats on graduating! Its good you took some time off to get the rest of your life in perspective (the site, the girl, the family, the plans for the future etc.) So where did you go to 'escape' after school finished--touring Europe, private island, golf with Donald Trump? :P
Anyways, now that your back, it'll be nice to hear from you on a regular basis again. There are all sorts of things you haven't had time to comment on (X800 vs. Geforce 6800, ATI's texture filtering 'scandal', Intel's scrapped CPUs etc.) Can't wait (any longer) for that Raptor article... :P
He won't be revealing the car he drives or the house he has as it would indicate the amount of revenue AnandTech generates each year. You can stop asking. :-)
Congratulations on a fine accomplishment! I read with interest your comments on the state of education (my mother taught College Chemistry for seven years). Quite insightful and and interesting to hear similar complaints voiced from another academic field. Congratulations again and enjoy your well-deserved time off!!
congrats nanad and its a pleasure to have you back. i used to check daily whether you have put up something but.............however i do hope the wait would be worth it coz a totaly rejuvenated you will give us best of reviews and opinions including thelong awaited apple mac ones.heres wishing you a great post school future
Hehe, stinks to be a high school junior. Lemme see, what do I have now, like 3 more weeks of high school in my life. I can almost taste... no, wait... nevermind. Still 5 years. At least I'll be doing something I enjoy more now. (Gonna be majoring in Computer Eng. at RIT)
Virge: Don't insult Anand by calling him an employee. :-) AT is his company and I a sure he is back with full force.
I think it's great that Anand owns his own successful business. He can take a vacation anytime he wants, he can leave the lab anytime he wants. Not very many people have a business in which they can do whatever the way.
I know Anand is a organized guy and he is definitely not lazy so I am guessing he will be working at least eight hours a day if not more and talk to companies on the phone.
Welcome Back! I am going to be a Junior in High School next year so I still have about 8 years of education left (2 years high school, 6 years college).
