Colorful Has a Single-Slot GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Card
by Anton Shilov on June 5, 2019 5:00 PM ESTDiscrete graphics cards for Mini-ITX PCs have become rather popular in the recent years as small form-factor gaming computers are gaining traction in general. Meanwhile, video cards with a single-slot cooling system are rather rare possibly because producers of hardware do not expect a strong demand for such products. Fortunately, select makers still roll-out single-slot GPUs from time to time.
Colorful demonstrated its N1660TI-606-SI3 card based on the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics processor (TU116 processor with 1536 CUDA cores, clocked at 1500 – 1770 MHz), 6 GB of GDDR6 memory, and featuring a single-wide cooling system with one fan at Computex. The card has three display outputs (DisplayPort 1.4, DVI-D, HDMI 2.0b) and one 8-pin PCIe power connector. The card uses Colorful’s own design and does not rely on NVIDIA’s reference PCB.
The N1660TI-606-SI3 video card from Colorful is designed for densely-packed gaming systems featuring multiple add-on cards, but not necessarily SFF machines. The maximum GPU temperature that the card can handle is 89ºC, so it requires a PC with good airflow inside.
Colorful will start sales of its N1660TI-606-SI3 graphics card in the near future, yet its pricing is unknown. Since the product is unique, it will be priced differently than most of GeForce GTX 1660 Ti boards.

Single slot coolers are in low demand because the enthusiast market has realized that performance-per-decibel matters. Tinnitus is no fun. There are few use cases where it's rational for aesthetics to trump health.PeachNCream - Wednesday, June 5, 2019 - link
I'd like to read about the noise output before deciding that its too loud. Although I see your point and I like a quiet computer as much as the next bowl of peaches and cream does, it strikes me as premature to go straight for weird phantom ear ringing due to a single slot GPU.AshlayW - Wednesday, June 5, 2019 - link
I have tinnitius since birth, due in no part from PC components :D But my PC is very loud, but is unrelated. I prefer cooling performance over noise, that is why I have 4x 140mm, and 3x 120mm 3000 RPM Noctua PPC Fans in my case. ;DZanor - Wednesday, June 5, 2019 - link
I'm pretty certain that no one has ever gotten tinnitus from the sound of any GPULordSojar - Wednesday, June 5, 2019 - link
Wait, tinnitus from a GPU cooling fan?Uh... is your GPU approaching 120dB? I certainly hope not...
45-50dB is far quieter than a normal conversation. So if the GPU fan is giving you tinnitus, then everyone talking around you is also doing that. Listening to music is doing it too. God help you if a police cruiser or ambulance comes right nearby you....

What? The problem with fan noise is that it's a single pitch usually, which can cause tinnitus if too loud and can also trigger tinnitus if you're susceptible to that particular frequency.
The reason normal conversations don't trigger tinnitus is that very few people communicate by emitting an annoying drone at a single pitch.

Or my ex. Or my kids. Or my neighbors. Or my cat when she's hungry. Or my washer and dryer when I'm doing yet another flippin' load of my kids' laundry because that pair of jeans just had to get changed over lunch for all none of the people that'll notice the droplet of kool aid on them in the middle of summer when we have no plans to go anywhere that day...Awful - Thursday, June 6, 2019 - link

There are SO many options for you and others. But some of us do want a single slot and here's our option. Options are the best thing about our hobby.
