I've got more meetings with a few game devs this weekend, but there is definitely going to be a follow-on piece to the article I just published. I can't say much now, but I'll keep you posted - the turn around time on this one will be a lot shorter, I promise :)
In other news, it doesn't look like I'll be able to implement the suggestions you all left in my earlier post for benchmarks in CPU reviews next week, but I will take them into account when working on future articles. I may even break it up into some application specific benchmark articles in order to get things done quicker, but I will update you all on that when I'm back in CT.
For now, I think I'm going to try and take the weekend off and spend some time with my lovely wife. Enjoy the weekend guys and gals.

Anand posted the XBOX/PS3 followup with some very pointed observations (including interesting speculation about a 32-pipe G70) and then it was removed. What up?smn198 - Tuesday, June 28, 2005 - link
Have a great weekend Anand. One thing I would like to see in benchmarks more is the system responsiveness results when running another app in the back ground; how long it takes a click to bring up a menu, maximise a window, etc. Just simple stuff. Sysmark may have been on to something when they introduced this a while ago but at the time it seemed a bit of a weird move. I cannot remember if it coincided with Intel's HT technology but enough of the conspiracy theories.

Anand,I'd love to know what you think about those who have mid-range gpus' now and are thinking about upgrading to the next gen cards, Nvidia? or ATi?
And about AGP longevity.

so, is it right to suggest there'll be part2 of the ps3/x360 piece? I'll be nice to hear game devs' views.cheers
